It’s about that time again! One week from today the Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale begins, and now is the time to prepare!
If you’re new to the After Party Sale – it works a little differently than other sales, but I’m going to cover everything you need to know below. This sale only happens only twice a year, and lasts for only TWO days! This is your big chance to stock up on Lilly items (dresses, tops, bottoms, accessories, shoes) at major discounted prices!!
Here’s what you need to know:
The sale begins Monday Sept. 10 at 8AM ET and ends Wednesday Sept. 12th at 11:59PM ET
At 8am Monday, shoppers will be placed in a “virtual line” to access the sale. There are literally thousands of people who will be logging into the sale at the same time, so don’t be surprised if you have to wait. It’s not uncommon for the website to crash when the sale goes live, so you might want to have another device (phone, tablet, computer, etc.) on standby in case it crashes on one.
Get your Lilly Pulitzer account ready. If you don’t have one already, make sure to set up a Lilly account. You’ll need to have one to shop the sale, so this will be one less thing to worry about getting set up the morning of. Double check to make sure all of the information in your account is correct.
During the Sale: When you add an item to your cart, it’s not yours until you’ve completed checkout. So if there is something that you really want, don’t let it sit in your cart for too long. ** Once you check out though, you will be logged out of the site and will have to wait in the virtual line again to re-enter.
All sale items are FINAL, so you won’t be able to return or exchange anything purchased. For this reason, make sure to know your sizing. I typically need to size down in Lilly, but here is a link to their sizing chart for your reference.
Standard shipping will be FREE, but expect to wait up to 2 weeks for your items since there will be a huge amount of orders to be processed. Expedited shipping won’t be available for sale items.
