All About RewardStyle

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday 🙂 So I wasn’t going to post on this, but I’ve been getting so many questions lately on RewardStyle and Liketoknow.it that I thought I would share my experience so far and cover a few of the common questions that I’ve received. Nothing in this post is coming from RewardStyle, this is just what I have gathered from my own experience. I did a lot of research before applying, and I was accepted into RewardStyle after less than a month of starting my blog. So let’s get started:

What is RewardStyle and LiketoKnow.it?

RewardStyle is an invitation only affiliate network that allows bloggers to earn commission on items (clothes, jewelry, beauty products, etc.) purchased through their links. Liketoknow.it is a program within RewardStyle that allows anyone to shop a picture.

How do I use Liketoknow.it?

All you need to do is download the app from the app store, and create a log-in with your Instagram account. Then, any enabled picture that you ‘like’ or screen shot on Instagram will appear in your Liketoknow.it app and you can shop right from there! You can also search for a particular person in the app and shop all of their enabled pictures. For example, my page is here.

How do you get accepted into RewardStyle?

There is an application online where you fill out questions about your blog, the content, and your social audience. Once you submit the application, they will review your website and your social media. From what I have heard, it can take up to several weeks to hear back. I think it was less than 12 hours for me, so I guess it varies quite a bit.

What do they look for?

I’ve seen these bullet points on a few different sites, so I did not come up with these, but they are useful:

At least 4 months of consistent content
Consistency on posting blog and Instagram (2-3 blog posts per week & 2-3 Instagram posts per day are recommended)
Engaged and growing audience
Quality and original content
Clean editorial design

My tips for anyone wanting to apply:

Use a premium theme on your blog.
Work on growing your Instagram & engage with followers – You don’t need a lot of followers, but you need to engage with them!
Publish professional quality photos. This is important!
Only apply when you are ready. If you get rejected, you will have to wait a few month before you are allowed to re-apply.
