Happy Tuesday everyone!! I’m starting to pack for a very fun trip and I am BEYOND excited! It’s been so long since I’ve had a vacation and I am ready for the salt and the sand. The beach truly is my happy place and I can’t wait to show ya’ll where I’m going 🙂 In the midst of packing, I wanted to share 10 of my must-haves items to bring along for the trip.

1. Hat– Not only is a sunhat chic and adorable, it also helps protect your face from the sun which is super important!
2. Tinted sunscreen – I’ve been wearing this sunscreen every day since I got it a couple weeks ago and couldn’t recommend it more! It’s tinted so it provides a little bit of coverage which is perfect for when you’re on the beach and don’t want to wear heavy makeup. It’s a little pricey but 100% worth it in my opinion. It’s the only sunscreen that I can wear on my face that doesn’t make my skin super oily.
3. Cover up – I ordered this one yesterday and can’t wait for it to come in! It’s so cute and only $18
4. Straw bag – A straw bag makes for the perfect beach bag because it’s lightweight, folds easily for packing, and is big enough to hold everything you need for the day!
5. Sandals – These are my go-to sandals because they are  cute, comfortable, and go with everything. They’re a little bit of a splurge, but I’ve had this pair for years and they’re amazing quality. I’ll probably pack these shoes and a pair of wedges and that is it.
6. Lip Balm – When you’re in the sun all day your lips can dry out so easily and that is no fun! I always make sure to have have lip balm on hand at all times.
7. Sunglasses – I love to wear aviators at the beach because they’re super light and comfortable to wear all day!
8. Denim Shorts – This is the best pair I own – they’re high waisted, the perfect length, and under $50!
9. Lotion – It is super important to load up on lotion after being on the beach all day because it will help your skin soak up the sun (and help prevent burning) You don’t need anything fancy – I’ve been using this After Sun Lotion for years and love it!
10. Swimsuits – Duh! I pretty much live in swimsuits at the beach. I posted this one on my Instagram last week and I’m so glad that ya’ll loved it as much as I do!! I can’t wait to wear it next week. I’ll be posting a lot more swimsuits while I’m there, so make sure to stay tuned!!
