Who all needs a vacation?! I know I do!! My favorite vacations have always been beach trips – there is just nothing better than salt water,  sand and sunshine. Over the years, my beach packing list has changed quite a bit – less tanning oil, more sunscreen.. all that fun stuff. But really, it’s so important to take care of your skin especially while at the beach when you’re exposed to more sun than normal. I’ve put together a list of 10 items that are essential to pack for a beach trip, or any summer vacation:

Hat // Not only great for protecting your face from the sun, but also perfect to throw on over beach hair

Sunglasses // Got to protect your eyes from the sun, and look stylish of course!

Compact hair dryer // I take it with me everywhere I travel

Lip balm // No one wants to have dry lips! A good lip balm is a must have

Dry shampoo // Let’s be real, this is an essential all the time haha, but especially at the beach!

Ultra hydrating lotion // This is THE most hydrating lotion I have ever used. Load this on after being in the sun to help prevent sunburns

Sandals // I’ve had one pair of Tory Burch millers for over 5 years and they have gone with me on every beach trip. The color I have is “sand patent” – the patent material is waterproof so you can wash them off if they get sandy or dirty

Tinted face sunscreen // This is what I put on my face for beach – it’s SPF 34 and tinted so I don’t have to wear makeup over it. This one is a little pricey, but it’s the only sunscreen that doesn’t make my face oily

Water bottle // This one is stainless steel so it will keep your drink cold all day long! Whether it’s water or a cocktail – I won’t judge 😉

Beach bag // To carry all of the other essentials, of course!!
