If you follow me on Instagram then you know I recently got engaged!! Ahhh it’s so crazy (and exciting)  to be writing my first wedding related blog post. I promised to share details on our engagement – it was simple and perfect!

It was just a normal Saturday, and I spent the day doing the usual – got some laundry done, cleaned the house, went to the gym, worked on the blog, etc.. it was a rather productive day actually! The one thing I didn’t do was make it to the grocery store, and I had nothing to cook for dinner. Per usual neither of us could decide what we wanted, so we decided to get ice cream haha. Don’t judge! Anyways, we got our ice cream and were walking down the sidewalk trying to find a place to sit – there are a bunch of swinging chairs but they were all taken. We got to the end and were about to turn around, but I wanted to stop and take a picture of my ice cream before it melted. I turned away to snap a pic, and when I turned back around he was down on one knee with the ring out! I still don’t know how he got down there so quickly (I only took one picture!) but it was so sweet and special. We are both over the moon excited and I can’t wait to share more details with you as we go!

As far as wedding planning… I haven’t started that process quite yet, but of course I’ve started outfit planning 😉

I fell in love with this jumpsuit as soon as I saw it and knew it would be perfect to wear for my engagement party! I feel like you don’t see bridal jumpsuits that often, so I love that it’s a little different! It’s a beautiful cream color and I love the simplicity, but the back is my favorite part!! This would be perfect to wear for any bridal occasion: shower, rehearsal dinner, or even for a casual wedding.
