I have to admit, I’ve been majorly slacking at hair care for the last few years. I would often cut and color my own hair, changing it up whenever I wanted a new look. I knew it wasn’t healthy for my hair, but it was convenient (and cheap) and it looked decent.
When I started the blog, my mom suggested that I go to a salon and get my hair done by someone who actually knows what they are doing. And ya’ll know the saying.. mother knows best 😉
I felt like a new person with a fresh cut and color. Not only did my hair look amazing, it felt so healthy and so soft. Now If only I could learn how to style it like they do at the salon… Anyways, this was my first experience with the Kérastase products, and I fell in love.
To be honest, I was hesitant about using this product regularly because it costs quite a bit more than I normally pay for hair products, and I tend to go through shampoo & conditioner rather quickly. But for the last few weeks, I have been using the Kérastase Volumifique Hair Care Collection and I just love this stuff so much I wanted to share it with you all!

There are SO many to choose from. Luckily, they offer a hair diagnostic tool on the website to help determine which products will be the best fit for your hair type.
I have been using the Volumifique Collection, which includes:
Cleanse: Bain Volumifique (Shampoo)
-Enhances texture and adds volume and fullness
-Rebuilds the holding structure of the hair
-Fortifies every strand from the inside for maximum effectiveness
-Smoothes, heals and protects
Treat: Gelée Volumifique (Conditioner)
-Conditions hair for soft touch
-Expands hair fiber for amplified volume
-Controls frizz, and adds shine without weight
-Improved manageability and long lasting style
What I like best: On top of everything I’ve already mentioned, a little bit of this product goes a long way – so it lasts a lot longer than your normal shampoo & conditioner. The “conditioner” is actually a gel, which I love because it gives you volume that isn’t weighed down by a heavy conditioner, and it still keeps your hair nice and soft. And I can’t believe I haven’t mentioned yet how good they smell!! They smell amazing. I have to admit that I am hooked.
