It’s *officially* here!! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is now available to everyone woohooo!!! Are you ready?! The Early Access has been crazy and this week is going to be even crazier!! I’ve spent a lot of time going through the sale and I’m bringing you my top 10 items to shop along with all the fit and sizing detail below.
My personal strategy for shopping the sale is to buy good basic pieces that can be styled multiple different ways and worn for years (nothing too trendy.) I will stock up on the basics and get ONE “splurge” item, which this year was the suede jacket. Last year my “splurge” was this pair of over the knee boots which I’ll be wearing for years, so I didn’t buy any boots this year.
One more reminder for shopping – just because an item is in your cart does NOT mean that it’s yours, so if you really want something make sure to go through checkout immediately. Nordstrom has free shipping and a really good/easy return policy so if you’re on the fence about something I would go ahead and order it because things are going to sell out withing days (if not hours!) It’s very common to have multiple separate orders for this sale.
Alright let’s get to it! Here are my top 10 (in no particular order):
Suede Moto Jacket // Fits TTS – Wearing M here but ordered S. Normally would wear XS but I sized up so I can wear it over chunky sweaters this fall/winter. The color is “bank roll” and it looks brown on the website but in person it’s a really pretty hunter green!
Pajama Set // Fits TTS – Wearing XS. Seriously THE comfiest PJ’s I’ve ever worn!!
V Neck Tee // Fits TTS – Wearing XS. Size up 1 size for a slouchy fit (perfect to wear over a bralette) and size up 2 sizes for an oversized fit (perfect to wear with leggings) Grab this in every color while it’s less than $12!!
Flannel Top // Fits TTS – Wearing XS. It’s the perfect plaid for fall, and so comfy!
Leopard Mules // Fit TTS – Wearing 8.5. Leopard print is basically a neutral these days, and I’ll be wearing these mules with everything this fall! They look great with jeans and are surprisingly comfortable.
Lace Up Cami // Fits TTS – Wearing XS. You can wear this by itself now (perfect for date night!) but it will also be great for layering in the fall/winter. You’ll need a sticky bra to wear with it – here is the one I just ordered!
Thermal Henley Top // Fits TTS – Wearing S for a looser fit though. I fell in love with this top when I tried it on because it’s SO SO soft and comfortable. Great basic piece for the cooler weather!
Open Toe Mules // Fit TTS – Wearing 8.5. These have been one of the most popular shoes of the sale – they’re are so cute with jeans or a skirt or shorts.. anything really. I got the color “blush suede” and LOVE them!
Varsity Stripe Sweater // Fits TTS – Wearing S here BUT I recommend sizing up 2 sizes to wear it slouchy (I think it’s even cuter that way)
Lace Trim Cami // Fits TTS – I ordered this in black & white because it’s another good staple and great for layering under a jacket or blazer
