Hi friends! I hope you all have had an amazing weekend 🙂 It was FINALLY warm here and I could not be happier. It’s amazing what a little sunshine can do – instantly puts me in a better mood!!

So it’s been a hot minute (aka several years) since I’ve purchased a new bag, because ya’ll know that my Speedy 35 is my baby… BUT..  the blogger side of me caved and ordered this adorable bamboo bag because it’s so #trendy right now. And it’s really cute!! The designer bag will cost you around $170, but I found one that is nearly identical for only $40!

So while I am all about investing on quality items, I would not recommend splurging on the designer version of this bag.  If you want to get a bamboo bag, the $40 dupe is just as cute and functional!  If I lived at the beach I might have a different opinion, but right now I don’t feel the need to spend that much on a bag that will be in season for a year or two. The bag also doesn’t hold very much in it – maybe my wallet, keys, and phone.. not nearly enough to work for me on a daily basis. I’ll definitely use this bag on vacations (when I don’t carry my full purse with me anyway) but other than that, you will see me with my Speedy as usual!

On another note, I picked up this $25 off the shoulder dress the other day and I love it so much more than I thought I would! The dress is super lightweight, and I will warn you – it is very sheer in the sun. I’ll probably be wearing this dress more as a swimsuit coverup than an actual dress, but hey it makes for an adorable coverup!
