Hi everyone! I’ve rounded up 10 items on my summer wish list this year. It was so hard to narrow it down to just 10! There are so many trends this year that I am obsessed with, but there will always be a place in my heart for the classic styles like this David Yurman necklace (pearl is my birth stone – shout out to June babies!) The sun hat can be customized so you can have anything written on it! “I miss my dogs” and “Champagne Please” are two ideas that I’ve seen that just speak to me ; ) I don’t know which I’d choose! Straw PomPom Tote: Ok I have to admit, I wasn’t always a fan of the pom pom trend. But it has been growing on me lately! I’ve been needing a new beach (or pool) bag, and this one would work perfect. I know this isn’t technically a “beach bag” but for some reason I just love straw bags on the beach. The other thing I like about this bag is that it is big enough to hold everything you’d need on the beach, AND it zips up!
White Halter Tank: Is there such thing as too many white tops? I don’t think so. This tank is perfect for the summer, and i love anything with a low back. I used to be all about halter tops, but it’s been a while since I have worn one and I think that needs to change. This would be perfect to wear for a casual lunch/dinner, or just to lounge in (it looks so comfy!) *UPDATE* The white is sold out now, but they still have a bronze color available which is just as cute (especially with white pants!)
Chambray OTS Dress: The “off the shoulder” look has literally TAKEN OVER this year, and I’m not complaining! And chambray is such a comfortable material (I always seem to wear a chambray shirt while traveling.) This is the kind of dress that I’d want to wear to everything – brunch, BBQ’s, picnics (I’ve never actually had a picnic, but maybe I need to get this dress and plan a picnic to wear it to ; ) ) I also love how it ties around the waist to give some form. It looks super flattering!
Valentino Studded Heels: Anyone that knows me knows that I practically live in heels. Unless I am at the gym or in some situation that involves A LOT of walking, I will probably be wearing some kind of heel. The studs give these shoes kind of an edgy look, but they are so pretty at the same time. The nude color is perfect for summer because it goes with everything – dresses, skirts, white pants, blue jeans, even shorts if you’re feeling sassy. The more I look at them the more I want them. Ugh. They’re just perfect.
Tory Burch Shoulder Bag: I love the quilted design of this bag, and the leather/gold chain strap is super cute. Most shoulder bags that I come across are too small to fit everything that you need (I will admit, I carry my life in my LV speedy and I am always saying that I need a bigger purse) but sometimes you just need something hands-free. Not to mention this bag is the most adorable shade of pink. It also comes in black, but we are talking about summer here!
David Yurman Pearl Pendant Necklace: In a way, I was raised with a love for Yurman jewelry. My mom has been collecting it since before I was born, and her vintage pieces are some of the most beautiful. But I am loving this pearl necklace – and since pearl is the birth stone for June, it just makes me think of summer time.
Jack Rogers Sandals: I know I just talked about how I always wear heels… But I saw these sandals and just look how cute they are! These are the perfect summer flats and I love how they have the traditional Jack Rogers look without the flip floppy “T” between your toes. These come in all different colors, but the cognac is my favorite. I love a good neutral shoe that goes with everything!
Marble phone case: I don’t know how protective this case is, but it is so pretty!! I’ve been attracted to light colored items lately… My current phone case is black, so I am thinking it may be time to switch things up! Check out more Recover phone cases here. They have tons to choose from!
Custom Lettered Sun Hat: I’ve been seeing these hats everywhere lately, and I don’t even care. I need to have one (I am a hat person.) These are made to order, so you can customize them to say anything that you want! This would be cute with just a monogram, even. (I wonder what is the strangest request they’ve gotten..) Anyway, I love wearing big sun hats on the beach. They just make me feel fancy!
Black Ruffle Bikini: This is like the LBD of bikinis. I just love it. It is not only cute and fun, but it looks so comfortable! A black bikini never goes out of style, but you could also mix this with other tops & bottoms for a pop of color. PLUS how cute would this look with the sun hat above?!
